Deep in the Bible Belt is energy rich Oklahoma, a prosperous agricultural state and home to 25 Native American languages. The state which was once Indian territory, roaming with bison is now home to many evangelical Christians who know how to enjoy their sports and the wide open spaces. The landscape and climate combine to provide the ideal conditions for spectacular thunderstorms and their wayward sister; twisters. Adverse conditions in the 1930’s saw parts of the state become a Dust Bowl which set the scene for one of America’s literary masterpieces, “The Grapes of Wrath”. Today’s visitors can really get to know the state in campervans or relaxing trips in the wide open spaces to enjoy outdoor activities.

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in the state capital is the place to discover the cowboy legend.
The Oklahoma State Fair is held over 11 days every September and is a celebration of the states rich Indian and multi cultural heritage.
The Philbrook Museum houses a magnificent collection of art and historical items. You’ll think you’re somewhere in Europe!
The Boston Avenue United Methodist Church is one of the country’s finest example of Art Deco architecture and well worth a visit.
The wide open spaces of Oklahoma call. Horse riding, hiking, biking, sand duning or fishing and golf are all there to enjoy.
